POST and PAGES NOT BEING BLOCKED SINCE UPGRADE!

I would double check a few settings – both of which are in the plugin’s main options tab.

You mentioned that you are using the ‘more’ tag. Are these pages or posts? Double check that your “block” setting is what it should be for the post type (page or post). Check the setting for excerpts. If these are pages and you have it set to display excerpts, then you must be using the ‘more’ tag in the page content.

The other thing you might want to use is the “auto excerpt”. This will operate in place of the ‘more’ tag, but if the ‘more’ tag is present it will default to that.

If all of that checks out a-ok, then you might have something from another plugin or shortcode that is throwing things off. The plugin uses the the_content filter to handle how it blocks content. If another process interferes with that it could be a conflict. But if things were OK before, I doubt that’s the issue. I’m more inclined to think that you didn’t get a clean install of the settings during update process.

I deleted it and installed it again and its not working. I even switched back to an older them i used prior and nothing.

It’s still not working.
What is the “auto excerpt” you speak of?

Looking at your screenshot, I see there is a disconnect on what we are talking about. The “more tag” means “the more quicktag” or “read more tag” which in the visual editor is the button just to the left of the spell check button in the first row. If you mouse over it, it will say “insert Read More tag”.

Autoexcerpt is available in the plugin’s main options tab. This will automatically excerpt posts to the number of words you have defined in the setting. If the “more” tag is present it will default to that for manual excerpts rather than the automatically generated one.
