Post and Pages Version Control
-
We are using wordpress as a blog and a light cms. In the process of building our website, we have over wrote a couple of pages by accident and the only way to restore was to reach into a DB backup that we did.
Version control for post and pages would eliminate this problem completely. WordPress could store the last 3 revisions of a post or page in the db, then, if you make a mistake, you could just select the last version, save, and be on your way.
? Has anyone else ran into this?
??Is this a feature that is important enough to be part of wordpress?
? Is there any current solutions like a plugin (we did find one: https://www.watershedstudio.com/ portfolio/software/wp-versioning.html , this doesn’t work with wp 2.0+ and is not the most elegant solution)THanks in advance for any feedback or suggestions.
