Post and Sidebar Problems in IE

  • For some reason my blog shows up fine in Mozilla but my post and my sidebar don’t show up in IE. What could be the problem? I am not a coder but i do know html but i can only read code to a certain extent.

  • the sidebar code is in the page source. You are posting into WP from some Microsoft product like Word – bad idea – adds tons of BS code. I would start by cleaning out that from your posts.

    Hi. We also have the same problem. Ok in Mozilla. No posts and no sidebars in IE. The thing is that it did work well last week. It’s been since last Friday’s post and we haven’t posted any way different since.

    myinstinctwaswrong, you say it might be because of copying and pasting from Word. We do this. We have our text in Word and then paste it into WordPress.

    2 questions:
    – how do we clean the bad Word code?
    – how can we post if not copying from Word?

    1) not sure since I have never had to – maybe try to edit your posts in HTML view?
    2) When I have to paste from Word into any application, I paste it into something like Notepad first, then re-copy and paste into the final destination app.
