    Hi,
    When file-based caching and memcached are enabled, the new posts are just updated within the wp admin. And after login out, even after purging manually the cache, posts are not updated.

    Hello alalehweb97,

    I checked the case, and I can replicate it on my end. The issue is not caused by Memcache but from File based cache alone. We will review it and likely address it in a future version.

    In the meantime, you can use the ‘Purge SG cache’ button at the top bar of your admin page to clear the file-based cache manually.

    the issue is even purging manually the cache, the posts are not updated!

    In my tests, purging the cache through the admin page (not Site tools) worked correctly, and the updated content was visible in the browser. Albeit, I was using a default WordPress with no additional plugins.

    You can submit a ticket to us with details on how to recreate it, and we will check it specifically for your website and what is causing this.

    yes sure
    my websites includes a professional theme with lots of plugin.
    Unfortunately after enabling the memcache website shows lots of dis-functionality included 502 error server.. so I had to disable it.

    I also started a fresh copie of wordpress without any plugins. and Memcache still keeping the cache and the cache is not cleared after purging manually.

    Hi alalehweb97,

    I tried it again, and I can not replicate this on my end using a clean WordPress installation. The file-based cache file inside wp-content/cache folder is deleted when I use the ‘Purge SG cache‘ button placed on the top toolbar, and I can see the new content after that.

    Could you please submit a ticket to us with the necessary details? This way, we can inspect the website and see what is causing this.

    Unfortunately when an issue is complex your colleagues don’t put enough time to find the solution.
    Right now I have an issue with the SG optimizer webp converter. I submitted the ticket and reported the issue many times to the SG technical team and still without answer!…
    This is the same for the cache issue…

    Hello,

    Unfortunately, we would need the issue with the Memcache to be handled via our helpdesk as it will be a lot easier to investigate the whole situation that way. Regarding the WebP image conversion, make sure that you do not block the native WordPress cron job as a start, additionally, if you have any additional inquiries related to different topics please submit them via separate posts. It will be a lot easier to navigate and keep track of the issues, and if they are resolved or not.

    Hello @alalehweb97 ,

    We have released a new version of the SiteGround Optimizer plugin which addresses the aforementioned File-based caching issues. You may update the plugin and enable all layers of caching. The cache should be automatically purged upon post updates.

    In case there is still a problem in that aspect, let us know and we would review it.
