Post Author – Do not display excerpt

Using theme 1229, The “Latest news” displays 3 posts at a time, with author photo, date of creation, author name and PART of the content.. I want to get rid of the content and/or excerpts.. Want to just dispay author photo, date of creation, author name.. how do I do this?
