Post Author select is broken

    Hey guys,

    Seems like I found another small bug.

    Plugin: SportsPress: 2.6.4
    Theme: Rookie 1.5.2

    How to reproduce:

    1. Go to Posts > Post
    2. Make sure Author option enabled (Screen Options > Author https://take.ms/P2RKoT)
    3. Scroll down and at the bottom of the post you will see a broken select (see screenshot https://take.ms/yhTTR)
      Everything is ok if SportsPress plugin is deactivated (see screenshot https://take.ms/D1AIV).

    Thanks for your report.

    I’m able to reproduce this as well with the Pro version. Also, it looks like any theme is affected by it.

    In addition, it looks like this is a script issue. When the page loads at first the select is there, then some code kicks in and breaks it. But the select is there, it’s just hidden.

    I’m tagging our dev team here, in case there’s a quick fix

    But let me open a bug report in our GitHub repo as well.

    Thanks for your quick reply!

    Yep, seems like ‘chosen’ script breaks the author select. Please note that this happens not only on blog posts but on all posts and pages where this Author select is present.

    Hi there,

    There is a conflict that we have to sort it out. In the meantime there is a temporary fix for this:
