Post Block

    Hello,

    I’m having a tiny problem with the post block, and would like to know if c. bavota is going to make any changes in future updates of this theme.

    The post block in the front page of my site shows only the abstract of my posts, but I have another post block in my Blog page and it shows all the post. This way no one will enter in the post to read it because they can read it all in the Blog page. Is it this way or will be some changes?

    I hope I made myself clear.

    where is your blog page? I can’t even seem to find the blog with all my posts.

    I think you can use a work around. A plugin that you can use as [Read More] so that they have to click read more and will go to the blog post. https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/wordpress-read-more-plugin/

    Now if you could help me ?? Do I have to activate my blog within the theme? or within my wordpress settings?

    Hi,

    I simply created a page names Blog and on them page template I choosed Post block, which means your latest posts will appear in that page, like in the frontpage. The point is that in the frontpage it appears only the excerpt and in the Blog page appears the all the post. I want to show always the excerpt.

    Since in the page Blog will show only 5 posts I’m thinking to put the archive on the sidebar, so it’s easier to find older posts.

    I’m still looking for an easier way to hide the full post without using a plugin, anyway I will consider. Thank you jenpack18 and I hope I’ve been helpful. ??
