• Using with BP 2.2 + WP 4.1 – fresh multisite install

    BP status box – post button shows scroll arrows on when browser is fully collapsed. Post in options also not visible – see picture please

  • I don’t see that “Post In” drop down list, which I think is the issue. My installation of BuddyPress looks like this:

    Did you have to turn on an option or install an additional plugin to get that option?

    Just core WP and BP – BP 2.2.1 + WP 4.1.1
    You can optionally create a Group, the dropdown lets you choose where the status goes : to your profile or a chosen group.

    Additionally, you can just do one extra install – buddypress-activity-privacy, which is a very basic need for a BP site.
    Now if you fully collapse latest FF to simulate a mobile view you can see “Post in” and / or “Post” buttons are lost.

    I created a group to test this out and see what you mean. I also tested TwentyFifteen and it has the same issue. Which means it’s a BuddyPress thing.

    When you click on the input field, a script resizes the area to display the new elements. But it adds a forced height of 40px and that is causing the issue. I suggest discussing it in the BuddyPress forum.
