post by email chokes when I email with cellphone

  • My entries are posted fine if I email with a regular computer.

    However, once I try sending an email to post via my cellphone, it only gets gibberish. More than that, it doesn’t even get posted on my blog

    Here is the output from wp-mail.php when checking manually via browser.

    As you can see there is gibberish where there should be regular text. I’m thinking it is some sort of encoding issue that my phone uses. But if my thunderbird email client can read emails from my phone fine, why can’t wp-mail?

    Please help!

    Cellphone in question is a samsung D600 if that helps any
