    I’m using Jetpack to post articles via Email. Attachments are not posted and I got this error message:

    Hi there, @buzzer222,

    Thanks for reporting this once again – I can see you already contacted us about that on this thread.

    Since you didn’t replied to that thread, could you please, first of all, check if the user agent linked to Jetpack might is allowed to edit posts? Ideally, you want that agent to have Administrator access and check if the file gets attached this way.

    If that doesn’t work, could you also try attaching a different file format? You used a PNG file, and we want to see if a JPG file works out instead.

    Hope that’s all clear! Let us know what you find out.

    Hey @buzzer222,

    Thanks for sharing your site’s multisite nature. We can keep this in mind while conducting our investigations. Have you tried testing it using a single installation test site to see if you get the same error? This would 100% rule out any glitch with the multisite network.

    Have you also checked the role access of the WordPress user agent at all? As mentioned, it’s possible that there aren’t enough permissions to post as expected, hence the attachment rejections.

    I haven’t tested it on a single website. User agent role is admin, so permissions should be ok

    Are you able to give it a go at a test on a single website? I could not replicate your issue on my end, as my posts have been successfully published with different image size and file type.

    I suspect there might be something off on your site or servers; testing it on a single site will help us narrow down the possible causes of the issue.

    Hey @buzzer222,

    I suppose the attachment didn’t get blocked as well, am I right? If that’s so, I suspect this is something related to your multisite network.

    I have asked our tech team about that as I didn’t see any conflict reports inour internal documentation, but I prefer to double-check with them. Can you reach out to your host meanwhile to see if they can see anything relevant at their end that can help us understand why this doesn’t work with multisite?

    @erania-pinnera yes, the attachment was also visible on single site. I already opened a ticket at my hosting provider and they’re not able to find any issue.

    Hi @buzzer222,

    I set up a multisite test network, and I was able to post by email with no issues, which leads me to think that there might be something very specific to your site that is preventing the feature from working as expected.

    Could you get and share the PHP error logs on your web host server for any relevant errors? If you’re not sure how to check those logs, your web host can help you.
