Post Calendar – Category Filter?

    I am trying to find out more about your post Calendar widget. Can the Category of the post you want to show on a calendar be set. Also can the date be specified that the post should show on? This Post Calendar looks interesting but I want to find out more before I purchase the Pro version. Thank you for any help.
