    Hello,
It’s great idea to have canonical attributes for posts when posts go standalong, but it would be better not to add them to the main page, populating main page (or other page) with the number of posts, how it happens now.
So, the main page have canonical attributes from all posts presented on it.

@forcesail the homepage or blog page should only have one canonical URL that links to itself. Could you post your site URL so we can take a look?

Enjoy with <link rel=”canonical” href=”https://forcesail.ru/advisable-articles/&#8221; /> that comes from the post embeded on the left side of the main page.

If I remove canonical attribute from the post – main page has the proper canonical attribute.

I mind that it’s error in the plugin that it takes canonical attribute for the main page from a post, that embedded (standart wordpress ability) into it.
If you look into the code of https://forcesail.ru/ you will find <link rel=”canonical” href=”https://forcesail.ru/advisable-articles/” /> that comes from the post that is embedded into main page (standart wordpress functionality). If I remove canonical attribute from that post – the main page have the proper canonical attribute.

I filled in the support form on your website.

Hi @forcesail, We’ve confirmed this is a bug that happens when a custom canonical URL is set on the latest post. We’ve opened an issue to fix this.
