Post changed from private to public fails to send email

    Hi there
    My friend posted something privately first and then changed to public. No email was sent when it was publicly posted. She tried to resend but got the message “an attempt to resend was made”. But no mails went out.
    She reset the post to publish immediately and updated but still no mails went out. And the same message appears when she tried the resend option.
    What can be done?

    Thanks for reaching out and providing all the details about the scenario to assist with your support topic. Is it possible to test another scenario, where your friend will submit the post publicly instead of making the private post into the public? After doing that check whether the mail sent out or not, and then please let us know the update.

    Thanks for the response Mazharul

    It turns out that the emails were going out (5 times in all!!) but were going into spam on gmail servers. A setting will need to be changed on the server for the website to verify, so nothing to do with your plugin!
