Post Content Lost, Limited to one sentence

  • I had some issues with my site, so I restored from an old backup and then upgraded to 3.0. Now all of the posts are limited to a single sentence. I was able to make a new post at full length, but all old posts (coming from the backup) are only a single line.

    What’s going on?

    I looked into teh SQL file from which I did the restore and all of the post content is in there, I can see the text.

    What could be the problem? Some error in the SQL restore?

    Also, I noticed these symbols in the posts that are cut off: ?

    They are not in the ones which appear more or less in full. Could that be part of the problem?
