Post Count for Guest Authors Won’t go Higher Than 4

    I’ve been using this plugin for a while (great plugin by the way!). I’ve recently noticed that when viewing all the guest authors in the admin dashboard, under the “Entries” column, the count is inaccurate for guest posters who have more than 4 posts attributed to them. Once a guest author has more than 4, the counter always says 4 instead of the actual number of posts attributed to them. I’ve tested this on 2 completely different sites and see the same result on both of them. Is this a known bug?

    Hi @cgscomputers,

    yes, it is a known issue we have already fixed in the upcoming new version, 3.2.0. I guess 4 is the number of related entries you have configured to show in the author box. Is that so?

    Excellent! I have the related entries turned off, but it looks like the default is 4. So I turned it on and changed it to 10, then turned it back off and that seems to be a good workaround (my guest authors have 6-8 posts normally).

    One other question in the same view, all guest authors in the admin dashboard – the bio column gets all crazy if there’s any html (such as hyperlinks) in the guest author’s bio. Is that something that will be resolved in the future as well?

    Yes, that’s another issue we were aware of and that has been already fixed in version 3.2.0. Again, thanks for reporting!
