Forminator uses default WP functionality for post creation so there’s no further customization available at the moment I’m afraid.

You can try using some jQuery in a mu-plugin to limit the number of characters for the title:

  <script type='text/javascript'>

    jQuery(document).ready(function() {
		jQuery('#forminator-field-post-title-postdata-1').attr('maxlength', '50');
    });

  </script>
<?php  }
add_action( 'wp_footer', 'limit_title_chararcter_count', 99 );
