Post Description

  • Is there a way to show a post summary or description instead of an excerpt of the post if that makes sense

    What would the different be between them?

    You can input a different excerpt into the “Excerpt” meta box for your post.

    If you don’t see that meta box, click “Screen Options” at the top right of the edit post area, and check the box next to “Excerpt”.

    So now it just takes the first 30 words or so out of the article.

    What i would like would be a description like “this post is about dogs and keeping them” or whatever
