Post display: alternating authors

    Hi,
    I am new to working with wordpress and looking for tips on how to approach solving a post display issue I have.

    I am looking to display posts in ASC order, by author, rotating through the 4 authors on the blog.

    So for example, if the post dates are all the same, posts would display like:
    Post from author 1
    Post from author 2
    Post from author 3
    Post from author 4
    Post from author 1
    Post from author 2
    Post from author 3
    Post from author 4

    Any examples or tips on how to identify the authors whether through the query or get_posts is welcome.
