Post Editing Issues in 2.9

  • – The post body disappears when I hit “publish” for the first time, and WP publishes the title and an empty post — fortunately I have been able to restore from previous revisions

    – WP used to preserve hard returns in html mode — now if I switch to visual mode then return to html it shows <p> tags — the body is a sea of unreadable text

    Any suggestions?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?
