Post editor is not saving category changes

    Post editor is not saving category changes when I try to modify the categories for a post. This is a complete mystery to me as I think this is a failure of the most basic functionality. I am using the Iconic One theme and WP 4.1.

    I looked at this more closely and it’s a problem with removing categories. The category module isn’t working correctly. I find that I can add categories to a post, but I can’t delete them from the post.

    Needed DELETE privilege on database.
