• Hi, installed the plugin and was working great! Then I installed another plugin (Add from Server) and it forced the post editor to stop working. So in uninstalled that plugin and deleted it and deactivated the rest.
    One by one I reactivated them all until I got back to mb.miniAudioPlayer and when I reactivated it, the post editor stopped working again!
    So I deactivated, deleted and then re-installed it but the it now keeps breaking the post editor.
    I’m using WP V3.5, any suggestions? Would love to get it back working as I’ve done a ton of work already using it!

    Thanks

    Hi,
    this is the error that refers to the miniaudioplayer:
    GET https://itzsoweezee.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-miniaudioplayer/maptinymce/tin…YWJsZT0mZG93bmxvYWRhYmxlX3NlY3VyaXR5PSZkb25hdGU9dHJ1ZQ%3D%3D&ver=349-20805 500 (Internal Server Error) wp-tinymce.php:2

    And, as I thought, this is generated by a permission problem on your server configuration (500 Internal Server Error). This happens because the plugin is trying to load a php file as javascript but the server has some restriction on the configuration that doesn’t allow that.

    At the time I need that page as PHP to get parameters from the DB and I can’t do otherwise.
    You could try explaining this problem to your server administrator to see if they can modify the web server permissions.

    As I wrote I had the same problem just on one web server and I solved it modifying the file permissions.

    Bye,
    Matteo

    Hi Matteo,

    Thanks for the explanation. It’s very strange that fixing the permissions on the file via FlashFXP doesn’t solve the problem. I’ll see what we can do on the server end. For now the workaround you put into the Settings menu will do until we can figure out how to get the custom post settings to play nicely with the post editor.

    Thanks again for all your help!

    Same problem, solved:
    UNtick “Activate the player customizer in the post editor: |_| check to activate the customization window in the posts and pages TinyMce editor”
    then the editor works fine, yet i guess this is not THE solution.

    I am reporting other (minor) issues on different browsers: the displayed player is working properly in firefox and chrome,

    while:

    – chromium: player opening/closing animation working correctly, but won’t play the files;
    – arora: appearance of player modified (buttons replaced by letters), animation and playback working great;
    – konqueror: appearance of player modified (same as above), player animation ok, won’t play file;
    – Opera: correct appearance but NO animation, NO playback.

    ONE LOVE
