[ POST-EXCERPT ] Not pulling manually set excerpts

  • Working on recent post section of newsletter and noticed that the [ POST-EXCERPT ] post tag is creating its own excerpt instead of the excerpts from the post’s excerpt field.

    In my case its pulling featured photo credits and editor notes that precede the article — Any help with this would be appreciated.
