Post Excerpt Not Working

    Hi

    1) Post excerpt is checked but the buttons are not showing up on my posts. It’s a simple page of posts listed from a certain category. I’ve tried before, after and shortcode ways of showing the buttons.

    2) Can the like button be just that..a simple click without bringing up another window you have to manually close?

    Hi,

    1) The buttons are showing up by means of hooks (certain functions in the page templates) – seems that they are missing in the theme. To check it, please install Twenty Sixteen theme for a while and check results.
    2) Unfortunately, this functionality is not available. API FB doesn’t provide such an opportunity.
