Post Excerpts Not Display Colour Change

  • Site isn’t active yet, but I have build a site where the homepage is the posts page showing excerpts of each post. I noticed that I had changed the colour of certain words in the post (to highlight them) using the Block editor, but that these changes were not reflected in the excerpt on the homepage. Why is that?
