Post exerpt doesn’t show using the custom skin loop

    Good day,
    I have been searching for the plugin with the functionality of Elementor Custom Skin for a while and since I found it I am loving it!

    The only problem I have is with the post excerpt not showing in the loop. I am using the Plugin: Custom Post Type UI to add custom post types and everything (including dynamic content) is working perfectly exept for the post excerpt.

    I have tried / am using the following:

    • To edit the post I use the Gutenberg editor;
    • I am using a fallback in the post excerpt widget for when the post is empty and that fallback is showing up just fine, unfortunately also when there is content available;
    • I have tried to add a text widget and use the dynamic content excerpt instead but still no luck;
    • I tried the Elementor post widget with classic, cards and full content and the excerpt is showing up just fine with those;

    If you have any follow up questions I would be happy to answer them, I hope you can help me get this resolved.

    Have you tried using a Text Widget with post summary as a dynamic value?

    That did the trick, thank you! Is this considered a bug to be fixed or is this the way it is supposed to work?
