post first paragraph doesn’t show in categories

    The issue is that the post first paragraph doesn’t show in categories, when it has a box design.

    In the Category page the first paragraph doesn’t show:

    Also page 1 doesn’t show the category before title

    I test with a site I am developing with Kadence theme and blocks, and I switch off all plugins, and also it has no ads setup or Leap app, and didn’t help. If I put the excerpt in the excerpt window, it shows properly.

    The issue is that the post first paragraph doesn’t show in categories, when it has a box design.

    I tried this on my test website, but even if my content’s first block is a heading, it will show on the excerpt part of each post on the archive page. Just to confirm, after switching off all plugins, did you also purge any server-side caching you may have?

    Also page 1 doesn’t show the category before title

    Kindly double-check if you have enabled the visibility of the Categories title element in Customizer > Blog Posts > Single Post Layout. Here’s a screen recording for your reference – https://share.getcloudapp.com/WnuxvLdP.

    did you also purge any server-side caching you may have?

    Yes I did, I purge Varnish, and the CDNs have page rules and they don’t cache backend. I also use cache killer for browsers. This happens in two subsites of a multisite install.

    I already pasted the first paragraph in the excerpt to have a solution by now.

    The category shows on post 2 and in all the others.

    In page 1 I copied the block from one of your starter themes, maybe there was something hiding the category.
