Post Footer Snippet- Error

  • I want to add a Post Footer on my blog, I really want to add a link on a word on the Post footer. However, when I try to click on the link, it would direct me on the main page of my blog with a message “Error 404-Found”..can please anyone help me with this problem??? thank you so much

  • Make sure that your link uses a full (absolute) url.

    i used the link that will direct me to amazon. The link has my associate Id. that is why the url is sort of long. is that the reason why there is an error when i try to click on the link?

    Does the link start with https:// make sure it is complete. If its http// the browser will think its a directory and point to your site with a 404.

    it starts with <a href. i tried to use the link deleting the <a href and starting https:// still it shows the same error. ??
