Post format name change

  • Hey once again

    any way to change post format name as seen in the screenshot attached? Would like to change for example from image to picture.

    I tried looking for it in the .pot file but found nothing in there. Changing original wordpress strings in functions.php file also didnt work out. Thanks!!

    I’m sorry for the delay!

    The name comes from the WordPress core, not the theme. So the right way to change this is to use custom taxonomy and not to use the post format. Post formats are hard-coded to WordPress and there is no way to change this.
