    This doesn’t make sense. Post formats are theme-specific, and are ways to present basic types of content. It isn’t about what template parts are used. It could be a choice (by the theme author) to show the post title or not, like for a link post format. It could be about a non-standard way to display the gallery post format.

    If your theme does not support post formats, it’s very difficult to add it with a plugin. But it’s not about styles only, although some of it is. Part of it is about the format or layout of the content.

    Your example seems to be more about styling for archive pages. You can add the styles for that to any theme…

    look into the theme Twenty Fourteen for example, how it calls post-format specific template parts in the loop …
