Post Formats in RubberSoul

When I edit posts with RubberSoul as the active theme on my site, the options box for Formats (gallery, video, link, aside, etc.) is not visible. I’ve confirmed it is not in the “Screen Options” box and it is available if I activate a different theme. According to the tags on the download page for RubberSoul it supports page-formats, so why am I not able to edit them when using the theme? Or are the tags wrong?
