• Good Morning,

Right now in my feed to post settings i have the post format set to “aside”

I have played around with it and changed it to see the various methods and formats but when i make the change and i got to the pages that i have feeds posting i see no difference. Does the change start with the next post or should I see it immediately?

Also are there any screen shots to show me what all the various post formats should look like?

    Thanks all

    D

if the post is correctly assigned to whatever format you want, and then it doesn’t look right on your site, the problem isn’t with the plugin, but the wordpress theme….you need to handle that with the wordpress theme settings.

    Thanks Allen

I’m probably get a poor job asking the question so let me try again. I was not trying to blame the plug-in for any problems that I’m having I don’t even know that I’m having a problem

What I’m saying is when I change the post type I don’t notice any change at all so my question was I noticed the change on the posts that are already there was a change happen after the next post goes in.

And my second question is are there any screenshots that show what the various post look like. So that I can just pick which one I think looks best from the screenshots of what they look like when they are working?

where are you changing the post type? In the plugin admin or in the post itself, after it’s been created? If in the plugin, does the post come in with the correct post type?

I am changing them in the plugin admin I did not know that i could go into the post itself to change it.

As far as does it come up with the correct post type. thats kind of my question. I have no idea what the different post types should look like. I have been changing the post type and going back to my post just to see differences .. Ive been doing this so i can determine what post type i prefer but since I have never seen any other display I dont know what to look for. This is why im asking if there are screen shots of different post types.

But to answer your question I change the post type in the plugin admin then i go back to my pages and I see no difference.

ok…watch this video where I assign the items to a post type..I bring in the feed, then when I check the post, the post type is exactly how I set it.

As I said, the plugin sets the post type, but if this doesn’t change anything on your site, it has to do with your theme…not the plugin.
