    Hi @tmm63

Will the Twenty Twenty Three theme support post formats?

Just to make sure we are on the same page, are referring to post formats allow you to switch a post to different formats as shown in this screenshot?

This isn’t supported on this theme, however, with the Site editor and Gutenberg you have a lot of options that allow you to present your content the way you want.

Is there anything, in particular, you were hoping to achieve for your posts?

Hello @thelmachido, sorry for the delay in responding. Yes, that is what I am talking about. I am trying to move my website more towards the IndieWeb concepts and I remembered these formats which seemed like they could give me what I wanted. Articles and Notes are two of the types of posts that I notice they talk about. And I wanted something for the Notes. I have found a plugin that is accomplishing this function and it is implemented as a custom post type.

@tmm63 Great – I’m glad you found a plugin to accomplish your goal.

As an alternative to a custom post type, it’s also possible with Site Editing to create a custom template which you could apply to specific posts or pages.

    Templates Self hosted Test WordPress

This would let you design your own Notes template in the Site Editor, for example. You’d then select it from the Templates drop-down menu when adding a Notes post, and your template would be applied to that specific post.

Edit Post Self hosted Test WordPress

Just let me know if you have any questions about this approach.
