Post from Divi showing all the coding info

This is because Divi likely has a whole bunch of additional markup and shortcodes in the text and our plugin whilst trying to remove it is having issues. This is why I create posts without using a page builder, but I appreciate not everyone wants to do this!

Instead of sharing the post content in your share message, you should try sharing the post excerpt instead and putting in a custom share message in the excerpt, or just putting in a custom message in the share box. But essentially if your post has all this additional Divi stuff in it, and you have nominated to share the content, then our plugin won’t be able to decipher the Divi stuff vs the core text content of your post.

I changed to [POST_EXCERPT] in main settings, but in the post edit page, the default [POST_CONTENT] remains – I guess need to change manually for each post?

If I upgraded to the paid plugin, would the Divi issue be resolved (Guessing not, but hopeful!)

By upgrading to the pro version unfortunately this wouldn’t be solved.

When using the [POST_EXCERPT] instead of [POST_CONTENT] you just need to make sure you have content for your post excerpt, because I believe some sites if there’s no content for the excerpt it will like use the post content as a substitute.
