Post Grid > Build Query > AND (not or) TAGS

  • Hi there,
    it looks like the build query from the Post Grids in the Visual Composer uses OR among the tags.
    Thus, if I have category = New York
    and tags blue and velvet, it will pull all NY + blue AND NY + velvet.
    What I was expeting was NY + (blue AND velvet).
    In other words it would need to be all the categories and tags at the same time.
    I am very new to WP and programming too.
    Any idea?

  • I just discovered the same behavior and I’d like to know if this could be changed.

    I just edited VC’s source code to add this functionality. I asked the developers if they can include my edits to their official release.

    Could you please share your edit. I am not sure if VC editor will edit it, and if it does, I got from a theme, which may not be updated.
    I would really appreciate it.

    Sorry, codecanyon’s license agreement doesn’t allow me to share this code ?? Let’s hope the developers add it to their code.
