Post is being truncated unexpectedly

  • Hi all,

    I’m using WP 2.0.3, so far very happily and successfully. But today I tried to post a new post on my blog, and it keeps getting truncated. I’m damned if I can work out why. Removing some of the links causes more of the post to be posted, but still not the whole thing.

    Is there a default limit on the size of a post? Or a limit on the number of links within a post?

    This is the text of the post (it’s a text file, to make sure it can be viewed exactly “as is”).

    This is what the post is truncated to when it is posted.

    Any ideas much appreciated – it’s driving me mad!

  • In the txt version there is a strange character/something exactly where the text breaks in your post:
    after “Version 1.1 Redistributable Package”
    Check it.
