Post Levels plugin and 1.5.1

(posting this in case people search the forums for help on the topic)

Unfortuantely, the post levels plugin is not fully compatible with WordPress 1.5.1. Specifically, protected posts cannot be viewed within the single-page view (although they can in other views, such as the front page or archives).

This is due to behavior that cannot be modified within a plugin. I have a filed a bug.

I recommend either staying on 1.5, or going to 1.5.1 and disabling post levels.

A suggestion for the WordPress dev team: Although it was supposedly a minor revision, 1.5.1 changed a few key things that broke plugins (such as the move to pluggable functions). There wasn’t much warning for these changes, and no instructions (that I know of) for porting plugins broken by the changes.
