Post link won’t work on home page

  • It appears you may have it set to only showing the excerpt on the front page.

    The excerpt option strips the links and a few other things.

    It would probably be a better option to use the full content and place the more tag when you want to keep it brief.

    Not sure what you mean…

    If you are talking about Options –> Reading –> Syndication Feeds –> For each article, show:

    Full text
    Summary

    We have Full text selected. Some of the posts are just fillers at the moment so they just appear truncated.

    We have nothing in the Write –> Write Post –> Optional Excerpt Field (if that’s what you thought might be going on…)

    Any suggestions?

    Upgraded to 2.6. Link function frozen in active mode in write post. How do I deactivate link to continue writing a post?
