    Hi,
About a week or so ago i discovered that my post links on the home page would not link to the respective article, but would only go to homepage. Here are a few dot points on what happens:

    • The issue only seems to be with article type posts. The posts with video go to the correct url.
    • You can copy the link and then paste it into a browser window independently and it still goes to the homepage (again on article type posts only).
    • In chrome on my OS (OSX Yosemite) there seems to be an exception and I can link correctly from all posts. Chrome on a mobile device does not work correctly. Opera, firefox, safari all suffer the issue. I have not tested on IE.
    • When viewing the source, the links are there correctly. I have not made any CSS changes since when this started.
    • If you click the “Read More” button associated with any post, it will go the the homepage with the shortcut after it. I.e. https://www.staceybarnes.com.au/#more-161.

I have tried deactivating all my plugins and reactivating which did nothing. Creating a new post has the same issue. I have tried all the different permalink options which did nothing. I clear the cache on my browsers and wordpress install every time i make a change.
The only thing that sticks in my mind was that around the same time my host went down for a couple of hours. Not sure if that has something to do with it.

I am runnning thesis 2.1 with the latest updates. Site is https://www.staceybarnes.com.au/

    Thanks.

Kind of a shot in the dark, but it might be worth working through some of the suggestions in this thread:

Another thought: if you have a backup from before the problem started, it may be worth using the backup to set up a local copy of the site to see if it works correctly.

I would try getting deactivating your caching plugin first, and then clearing your browser cache and any other cache settings that might be included if you’re using a CDN or any that might be built into Thesis.

Then I’d look at how your custom post types are set up. Are you using a plugin or custom coding the custom post types?

If neither of those do the trick, I’d reach out to Thesis and see if there’s a theme setting issue.

    P.S.

I know you mentioned that you’d already tried deactivating all of your plugins, I just wanted to point out that you may have additional caching options still active and to get them all shut off at one time.

clicking on the first post, https://www.staceybarnes.com.au/if-your-life-was-a-movie-would-you-pay-to-watch-it/, seems to work fine for me.

Have you tried switching to a default theme and testing whether you still have that issue?

It was Wishlist Membership plugin that was doing it. Havent fully worked out why yet? But stoked to find out! The strange thing is that I had deactivated it previously with no change, however after deactivating everything and adding them back one by one it began working.
Does this suggest a conflict between Wishlist and one or more plugins?

    Thanks for your replies.
