• I just changed my theme so that may have something to do with it – but!

If you click on anything that is supposed to link to a specific post it goes directly to the home page. Looking at the code on the page, it is just a straight link to the home page, so it’s not getting redirected or anything like that.

    website: https://www.pathwayswellnessprogram.com

It happens on the blog page, it happens on the “recent posts” widget, it happens on the links that are posted to facebook, twitter and LinkedIn.

I am using Headway Themes. I built the theme on another website, exported it and imported it into https://www.pathwayswellnessprogram.com. The theme works on the original website.

    Any help? Thanks in advance!

  • Refresh your permalinks. That may correct the issue. Settings>Permalinks>Save Settings.

Yes, check your Permalinks setting. Do you have Custom Structure selected? What’s populating the input field after the main URL?

In the Permalinks setting I do have Custom Structure selected. I have a “/” in the text field. This works in all of my sites – just not with this particular theme installation. I believe it has something to do with the theme I installed.

Hmm, no, if you have Custom Structure selected, you need to add what elements you want to see as part of the permalink. For example, I use:

    /%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%

You might want to give that a try.

You are a genius! I just added the %postname% and that did the trick. I wonder why it used to work without me doing that? Mystery.

    THANK YOU!
