Post metadata not being synced with CFT updates

  • It would be nice to have a feature that allows to keep metadata syncing with CTF user-defined template data.

    For instance, let’s say I have a new template composed by two meta fields named field1 and field2. I select some existing posts and I add corresponding metadata to these fields.

    If I go back to the template configuration panel and I wish to respectively change “field1” and “field2” for “Fruits” and “Vegetables”, when I hit the Update button, this will generate garbage in the metakeys of each post I previously updated.

    The only way I found to adjust this is to manually update the wp_postmeta database table, which is not so convenient.
