Hello, how are you? I currently have a problem: after activating the option “Delay JavaScript execution” in the WP Rocket plugin, the modification date of the post added by Neve disappears. This didn’t happen before and I tried everything I could and couldn’t solve it.

If you can test the page I added as an example, the date should remain close to the author’s name, but it either appears very quickly and disappears, or it doesn’t appear at all (when logged in the problem does not occur).

    Can you help me?

  • Hello @erickrib,

    Thank you for using Neve!

I didn’t manage to reproduce the issue on a local instance using only the “Delay JavaScript execution” setting. Can you please mention what other settings are you using in WP Rocket that could cause this?

    Best regards,

Hello Irinel, I tested other ways to delay javascript, besides WP Rocket and the same thing happened. I thought it was strange why this didn’t happen. Until I decided to deactivate each plugin from the last ones I activated, keeping the javascript optimizations, and found what caused the problem: one plugin which inserts snippets. Even with snippets disabled, the plugin caused fail to display the post update data (or posted data) when delaying javascript. I just disabled the plugin, as the Neve theme and javascript optimizations are important to me. Thank you for attention.

    Hi @erickrib,

We’re glad you managed to find the root cause of the issue!

If you encounter any other issue, don’t hesitate to open another support topic and we’ll be happy to help.

    Have a great day ahead,

    Irinel
