Post Navigation

  • I feel like I’m overlooking something, but there seems to be no customization options for post navigation links. (arrows, change the text, etc..)

    Is this truly by design, or am I doing something wrong? The “Previous” text uses too much space in my design and would rather have an arrow, or even change the text to “Prev” so it matches the same space as “Next”

    While continuing to migrate to this new block theme I discovered that there is a “Pagination” block in the Archive template that does have the expected options like Arrows or Chevrons. It could stand to have more options like setting the text, but at least it is somewhat configurable.

    Unfortunately I can not find this block when trying to use it elsewhere like on the Single Post template.

    There are Previous Post and Next Post blocks, but they have no configuration options at all other than Typography. I would think it should at least have the same options so the theme would stay consistent throughout, but apparently not.

    Was this a design choice?
