Post navigation – stay in category

I tried to implement the single post navigation to stay in the same category (https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Template_Tags/previous_post_link#Text_As_Link.2C_Without_Post_Title.2C_Within_Same_Category). It doesn’t work or I might not get the syntax right. Any idea how to do this properly? Thanks, J.
