Post not publishing

  • Hastings Chronicle is an archive of news dating back to 1848. After submitting some 1500+ posts into various categories without problem, I have discovered that some of the articles are not appearing on the public site. Upon further investigation it appears that when I go into the post to edit it, the status says published, but the ‘Publish’ button is still there alongside ‘Save’ and ‘Save and Continue’. This would indicate that the post isn’t published. However, it doesn’t appear as a draft in the top of the post management section.

    As you can tell this is causing a lot of concern due to the fact we do not know how many other posts are in this state of limbo.

    The link is published online and is live, doesn’t appear as a draft in the post management section but when editing the post the publish button still persists.

    Can anyone shed some light on the process of ensuring this post appears in the categories as it should.
