• Hi, I have a feed that gets auto imported every day, with a custom field that I have mapped ($(/expiration_date) to expiration-date). On first import, it works great, but if there is a change to that value (but not the rest of the post) in the feed, that post (custom field value) does not get updated (nor does a new post get created). Is there any way to fix this? Is it a bug in feedwordpress or a setting that I am missing somewhere?

    Thanks!

OK, could anyone who is familiar with the code at least point me to the area where the update SQL is launched and I will try to fix this myself? I have been looking through the code but it is not at all obvious to me…

Thanks for any direction at all….

I solved this by writing my own function which compares titles and metadata and updates the DB, a royal pain in the ass. Hopefully the plugin will be updated one day to look at custom field changes.
