post notification with table of contents

I’m trying to create a post notification 5 latest posts of a taxonomy (full post) with a table of contents (just the posts headlines as a list of bullet points) at the beginning.

I thought I could do this with 2 post lists within the mail. The frist one for the table of contents the second one to show the 5 latests posts.

Unfortunately the 2 lists of posts do not match ?? 5 latest posts are shown in the first list (table of contents) but 5 older ones in the second list (full posts)

Does anynone know how to solve this? Or how to insert a simple table of contents above with post title above the full posts?
