Post on main page option

    sorry ?? I want to be able have some posts not show up on the main page while allowing others to show up. Not sure how else to explain it…

    Now we are getting closer ??
    What those posts have in common, if anything? Are they in the same category?

    I am afraid you cannot pick in/out for posts on an individual basis.
    However you can exclude categories from the main page.

    the posts will be in the same category. How would I exclude that category from the main page?

    There are Plugins that do that – look for Catgeory (in)visibility.
    You can modify The_Loop in your index.php file.
    You can use the query_posts to modify the Loop.
