Post options block disappeared

Did you follow the instructions mentioned here? Also, please try activating main theme (not the child theme you created) and see if the problem exists ?? Hope you understand.

The options you mention, I checked already before although I had a slightly different functions.php and applied the one you suggested right now. It’s probably not this file as I have seen the missing elements some days before.

I did as well already switch back and forward to main theme (this repaired the missing attributes on the ‘new page’ page). I turned as well all plugins off/on.

The problem on ‘new page’ page persists. I can only see the elements in the side menu but not the options directly below the text block.

Any idea what else I could try?

I did it now all new.
– re-installed WP
– deleted serif-lite and re-installed
– modified to your suffused functions.php

Apart from the fact that I lost some content, I do not see any change it the original problem. I’m quite new to WP, so I’m not sure if I’m asking for something obsolete or theme specific. On the below screen shot I see all kind of options below the text input field which I cannot see. What is wrong?
