post order in category pages

    Hi! i have one more question –
    is there a way to arrange the order in which the posts appear in category pages?

    right now the newest posts appear at the top but i would like to arrange the posts in a custom order. is this possible?

  • Not for category pages, wordpress doesn’t work like that.
    You could do some serious editing and create a page template that used a custom order but it would require that you have coding skills and use a child theme.

    i ended up using this plugin to do that: post types order
