    Hi!

I have set a website to work with a “static page”. I then get to choose a start page and a post page. When I open the post page for editing, I get to the edit page. So far there is nothing strange. But when I click “Preview” I get the start page and not the post page. How does this work?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @ozkar891

It’s not possible to edit a post page from the normal editor, you have to edit the page template instead. I am assuming that is why the preview option doesn’t work. The guide below shows how you can edit the template of a page:

    https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/template-editor/#to-edit-a-template

However, the behavior you experienced trying to preview the post page can be considered to be a bug. I would suggest opening an issue on Gutenberg’s GitHub here:

Ok, thanks for your advice. If I don’t select any post page under “Settings” it works. What is the use of choosing a post page under “Settings”?

I’ll try to explain in another way: When I type the URL gullregn.se/gullregn/gullregns-forum/ I don’t get to that page. Instead, I come to gullregn.se. Well – it says the long address in the window but that’s not where I’m going.

    Hi @ozkar891

What is the use of choosing a post page under “Settings”?

The page you pick as your post page on Settings → Reading will display all your posts and update each time you publish a new post. This is one easy way of displaying all your posts on a page.

When I type the URL gullregn.se/gullregn/gullregns-forum/ I don’t get to that page.

I am not sure exactly what you mean, can you please provide more information about what you want to achieve exactly.
